My name is Faeinis (FAY-in-iss) and I am a zill fae and fusion dance nymph, with a passion for finger cymbals, high fantasy aesthetics, and theatrical dance.

I began taking fusion raqs sharqi classes in 2012 and fully committed to the art in 2023. I am currently a member of RAD Raqs Dance Company under the direction of Berna, and my training has included study with April Rose, Sahira, Aminah Louise, Joanna Abel, and Jennifer Neal. My performance experience includes appearing in Jillina’s BDEx: Alice in Wonderland in Pittsburgh (2025), as well as performing twice in Joanna Abel’s Enchanted Creature Ball (2024 and 2025). In 2025, I also earned first place in Datura Online’s annual Choreography Challenge #13 for “Jehan.”

Currently frolicking about in Portage County, Ohio, I am a Dance Cohesion Stage 3 Trained Teacher. I have had a life-long relationship with teaching, earning my Master’s in TESL in 2017. My education background informs who I am as a dance instructor. I combine the clear and detailed explanation of an experienced teacher with playful energy and a supportive atmosphere. I welcome people from all walks of life to join me in falling in love with this dance through creative exploration and cultural investigation.
