My name is Faeinis (FAY-in-iss) and I am a zill fae and fusion bellydance nymph, with a passion for finger cymbals, silk props, and high fantasy aesthetics.

I first started learning belly dance as a hobby in 2012, and I became serious about it as an art form in 2023. I have studied with April Rose, Sahira, Aminah Louise, Joanna Abel, and Jennifer Neal. I performed in Joanna Abel’s Enchanted Creature Ball in 2024, Jillina’s BDEx Alice in Wonderland in Pittsburgh, PA, and won 1st place in Datura Online’s annual Belly Dance Challenge #13 for “Jehan" in 2025.

Currently frolicking about in Portage County, Ohio, I am a Dance Cohesion Stage 3 Trained Teacher. I have had a life-long relationship with teaching, earning my Master’s in TESL in 2017. As a belly dance instructor, I combine the clear and detailed explanation of an experienced teacher with playful energy and a supportive atmosphere. I welcome people from all walks of life to join me in falling in love with this dance through creative exploration and cultural investigation.

When not dancing, I can be found making earrings, reading, or playing trivia games with my husband.
